Compassion in Bloom: Operation Rose 5K a Big Success

November 9th, 2022

On October 8, we were honored to be part of the Operation Rose 5K Run/Walk! Durham Farms loves the local spirit of compassion in action. Everyone had a good time getting in some cardio while enjoying the fresh air and scenic setting for a very worthy cause. A total of $3,600 was raised for the event with 100 people in attendance.

A special thank you to all the sponsors who supported this great event!

Founded in January 2021, Operation Rose is a local, non-profit organization based out of Nashville. Their mission is to educate, prevent, and combat human trafficking in middle Tennessee. They train hotels, motels, and schools to recognize and prevent human trafficking. Human trafficking is the second largest crime globally, surpassed only by illegal drugs, and the number of victims has tripled from 2008 to 2017. Thank you to the entire Operation Rose team and the life-changing work you do here in Tennessee.
