Pedal for Paws Bicycle Fundraiser Set for 8 a.m. on April 15, 2017 at Gallatin Civic Center

At Durham Farms, we strive to be so much more than four walls and a roof; we’re a thriving community, and we know that no community would be complete without our four-legged, furry friends.
That’s why we’d encourage you to attend the upcoming Pedal for Paws 2017, a fundraiser organized by the Sumner Spay Neuter Alliance and FOGBees Bike Club that helps support animals in our community. Simply register for a scenic bicycle ride on one of four routes, and join us starting at 8 a.m. on April 15, 2017 at the Gallatin Civic Center [210 Albert Gallatin Ave, Gallatin, TN 37066].
This is a perfect way for members to fulfill their values, while doing more good in our community. Plus, 100 percent of event proceeds go directly to supporting animals right where we live. Let’s talk more specifics so you’re ready to bring it on race day (all in the name of fun and cute animals, of course).
The Who
This event is made possible by the Sumner Spay Neuter Alliance and the FOGBees Bike Club. The Sumner Spay Neuter Alliance offers low-cost, high-quality spay and neuter services to our community. And of course, the event wouldn’t happen without you and all of the lovely people who hop on their bikes and ride through the countryside.
The Why
A healthy lifestyle is best achieved with an abundance of ways to avoid the mundane, and here at Durham Farms, we have no shortage of ways to stay active. While this is not a Durham Farms specific event, we encourage our community to get involved in the world surrounding our home. Plus, this will help you shake up your normal workout routine.
The What
Get your sweat glands going for a great cause. This organized biking event has four separate mileage routes to accommodate any biking skill level (14, 31, 45 and 61 miles).
Simply pick your favorite route and get ready to ride! We’ll see you with a helmet in hand and a bike in tow. Also, might we suggest forming a team? Working out is much more fun with friends, and you can choose a snazzy matching uniform of your liking.
